They have new music created but it's shelved into the black hole.....it should be released. My 2cents.

Yes he said a few times this summer in a few places that it will be 2022. Some people are all psyched for South America.............um nah. Not happening. They have new music created but it's shelved into the black hole.....it should be released. My 2cents.

You mean the 2016 recordings?

Well, 2022 is something to look forward to. Hopefully the new music finds the light of day at some point. Would have been uplifting to hear something new from Live at some point during the pandemic but apparently it's not in their plans.

Check that, just saw STP is playing Arts, Beats and Eats this Friday! I'll be there. The Guess Who is onstage before them and you can watch both shows for free.

Have to say I had my reservations about seeing STP with a new lead singer. The concert was amazing. Great setlist! Jeff is a local guy who does an fabulous job with their songs. Easily the best show I've seen in years. If STP comes to your area I'd recommend going.

Yes, he is a perfect replacement. I also recommend their two albums with Gutt on vocals, he has a really good grasp of melody and works with the band well. He's no Scott Weiland obviously, that guy did something really special with the Deleo's music, but Jeff is very strong no doubt.

Another EP? A full album's worth? Is this a fully recorded and mixed thing or is this a Snyder Cut type thing where the threads of something kinda sorta exists but needs heavy production to actually bring it forth?

How did the writing go down for it, whatever it is? The same MO of recent times or more of a return of the four of them getting together and hashing ideas out?

At this point, Zak looks to be leading the band. I respect that he at least replied to a fan comment to give us hope.

Statement from Bush

Due to unfortunate and unavoidable Covid-related circumstances, we will be unable to move forward with our planned Fall tour dates -- including our festival appearances and our tour with Stone Temple Pilots. We cannot stress enough how heartbreaking it is to not be able to go out and play after all of this time, and after all of our attempted starts and ensuing stops over the past year and a half. We wish to extend our deepest apologies as this is the last thing we would want for all our great fans as well as our good friends in Stone Temple Pilots.

Statement from STP:

STP friends and family, unfortunately Bush has had to cancel their upcoming tour with us that was to start at the end of this month. Their announcement is below:⁣

We wish to extend our deepest apologies as this is the last thing we would want for all our great fans as well as our good friends in Stone Temple Pilots.⁣

We are of course saddened by this news, but it’s a sign of the times right now. That said, our headline dates starting on October 17th are still on! The only headline date that is being canceled is Oct 9th in Chattanooga, as that was during the Bush run and can no longer fit with the schedule. We’d love to see you all out there for the below dates, and we’re so very much looking forward to coming back to all canceled markets as soon as we can.⁣

10/17 - Oklahoma City, OK @ The Zoo Amphitheatre (KATT Radio Show)⁣
10/18 - Wichita, KS @ The Cotillion⁣
10/20 - Cedar Rapids, IA @ Club 5⁣
10/22 - Green Bay, WI @ Epic Event Center⁣

10/27 - Fort Wayne, IN @ Piere’s Entertainment Center⁣
10/29 - Waterloo, NY @The Vine at Del Lago Resort & Casino⁣
10/30 - Middletown, NY @ Orange County Fair Speedway Arena⁣
10/31 - Huntington, NY @ The Paramount⁣
11/2 - Hartford, CT @ Webster Theater⁣
11/3 - Harrisburg, PA @ XL Live⁣
11/5 - Worcester, MA @ The Palladium⁣
11/6 - Atlantic City, NJ @ Sound Waves at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino⁣

Amazing that Live still has the South Africa shows listed on the Tour section of their site. The band has a professional site that represents their image and nobody form the band cares enough to ever occasionally check it.

FTFY

Kidding aside, I'm hoping that legal reasons are preventing anyone from the band posting anything on social media until things are addressed. Would I put money on it? No, but if it's not for legal reasons, what else could it be...
