Article about new "single", Found on American Idol boards Options

According to my local(Florida) newspaper.

Chris Daughtry may have been booted off American Idol before his time. And he may have turned down the lead singer spot in the band Fuel -- the nerve of him. But we hear that over the weekend, Daughtry was in town recording a single with his fave band of all time, Live. A spy ran into the band's lead singer Ed Kowalczyk at the Sagamore Hotel on Saturday night. Ed told the spy he was recording a new single with Daughtry over the weekend. Maybe they'll preview it on one of Simon Cowell's 70 new reality shows.

The single must have been Mystery. Wonder if it will ever get released??

I saw that and it is confusing, for sure. All of the short articles about different celebrities were written about events happening from last weekend and through this past week. The only single we've heard of as a collaboration between Chris and Ed is Mystery, but wonder why this is coming out as if the recording just happened. Live is abroad right now and it's unlikely that Ed would fly in to Miami to record a song, right? Video? Then again, it might just be, as you imply, a rehash of previous articles about the Live/Chris Daughtry version of Mystery.
