I'd have to say Show only because it's a little more rockin'.

Am I the only one who thinks that it sounds like Ed has a lisp during the line "Angelic little devil of the most secret space"?

Sophia is growing on me. Especially the ending. Love when Ed sings "Sophia, rain down on me". Wish his voice sounded like that more often.

Me and my girlfriend agreed that Sophia was our least favorite new tune of the five sung in concert in Chicago.
But only because the other four were so good. rockin.gif

I can't really remember a lisp during that line, but definately in "Home" pretty much all of the first two verses.

Nope. It definately sounds like that alright. The producer shoulda caught that, or did they intentionally leave it. But then why would they?

well I noticed it the first time I heard the song.
think it's pretty obvious.
made my girlfriend listen and she noticed it also.

Ed had to do it on purpose.
not sure why either. that's what I'm tryin' to figure out.
didn't notice any lisp in Home.
better go listen again.

Definitely Show. Sophia has a unique sound but I can't get used to those lyrics. Especially "junkie needs his vein" bugs me every time I listen to it.

If you asked me a month ago, I would have said Sofia, hands down. At first, it was my favorite off the album, and Show was one of my least favorites. Now, it's changed. Mystery is still my favorite, but Show has moved to 2nd. Im in love with it now. While, many episode have passed Sofia for me. I wish it was heavier. So, Show wins for me.

Have never been a big fan on Sofia. I can't really stand the studio version at all. Show was my favorite, but now its alright.

Anyhow, what I get from Sofia is this. Sofia=Wisdom=WOMEN=WISDOM. Which makes sense considering Ed Went on about writing from a female perspective and all that.

As for the line "like a junkie needs his vein" What the fuck is wrong with that line? I think you people are just too fucking stupid to be able to project yourselves into the shoes of other people. Same goes for why you dimwitted Napoleon dynamite replicas jump all over the song Home. You're too stupid to put some perspective to it(uggggggghhh idiots!! in my best Napoleon Dynamite voice). Ever stop to REALLY think how much a junkie really does need his vein or a vein? How to a junkie, that vein and needle are his whole entire world? The single most important thing to them?

As for the music? Sofia beats Show's ass like a red headed stepchild, no contest here. Gracey is better and the guitars are much funkier. It's also the only song where there is anything that resembles a guitar solo by Taylor. Show was destroyed by the reverb in the chorus. Turn that song up and tell me what you hear in the chorus. Sounds like one big giant, extended clang of shit. You can barely hear Ed it's so loud and fucking annoying. Turn this song up loud on a good system and you'll see what I mean. I can't even listen to it anymore.
