Already 15 years ago Songs From Black Mountain was released.

Guess the special edition with the obscure Tibetan Thunderstorm and Here To Stay will be released very soon! eyebrow.gif

Oke, without being sarcastic, who still listens to the album now and then? Which song is your favorite and which one should definitely have have been in the reunion setlist last few years?

Also, remarkable that LIVE mentions the album on their social media, as we haven't heard of read anything about albums 5-7 anymore, apart from Heaven and Overcome maybe.

Based on all of the responses it appears you just broke the #1 rule about SFBM - don't talk about SFBM.

I still listen to SFBM and as recently as a couple of days ago. There's some great music, The River especially banana.gif Mystery, Sofia, Wings and Show. The album cover is pretty nice to look at too from a females point of view nod.gif

Sofia had an awesome bass track and guitar entrance back around 2009 before they split with Eddie, would have been nice to see it played after the reunion, but as mentioned above, its probably off-limits forever. Show was also a good track.

The other night I was jamming to Mystery. That is the only track I liked from this album.

Every once in a while I find myself going back and listening to this album. As everyone agrees, it’s not their best work but I don’t think it’s as bad as some make it out to be. For me the biggest issues is it lacks any kind of staying power. I can listen to 80% of the songs and enjoy them, but I don’t have a desire to listen to them again and again like I do with Throwing Copper or TDTH. And I think that has more to do with it being lyrically light, very few of the songs make me think or want to dive deeper into their meaning.

I honestly haven't listened to Live in a while. I think The River is the only song from SFBM on my Live Playlist. The only other song I ever really listened to was Love Shines, which I know was not a favorite around here.

I listen to Wings and Mystery from time to time. Wings is better on the Paradiso DVD.

I'm pretty sure Live's social media is run by a company overseas, and follows a formula they use for all bands. I'm not joking.

I’m pretty sure you’re right. I’ve felt this way for some time, as all the postings from the band’s social media seem so “canned.”
However if other bands do the same, why is it not so blatantly obvious as Līve’s?
Maybe because I just pay the most attention to Līve’s. shrug.gif

My guess is it’s a mix of paying more attention to Live’s and the specific company they use.

I have tried over and over again to listen to this entire album , but as a whole is very very weak. Sophia and Mystery are great however.
