G'day Live fans!

As I'm sure everyone is aware, it's been over a year since Live last performed a concert together, as a result of the Covid-19 shenanigans. This begs the question as to what the boys are likely to perform when they return to concerts (which is suspected to be in October from memory).

I have considered this a lot and wondered what other thought about it. In terms of a set, I'm sure it will entail similar stuff to what we've had the past 4 years, though you'd have to also expect a bit of a shake up??!!

Thought this was a worthy topic to start a discussion on! rockin.gif

I know we all have the setlist we would *like* to hear, the stuff dreams are made of.
One would *think* that Līve would shake up their setlist post pandemic, but since their reunion I have finally learned (I was stubborn and it took me a while) to not get my hopes up for anything from them. All hopes will surely be dashed & we’ll be disappointed.
Sooo, same setlist as last tour, except they’ll switch out the two covers for two new covers. Of songs I don’t like.

And they'll call it the Secret Samadhi 25th Anniversary Tour (for two years)

I just hope that they do tour again. I would also love to hear a new song or two.

Your expectations are on the low side.

Live had better do something special for the South African shows. Last time they were down there they put together a really nice setlist. The best since reuniting. Since they haven't performed in over 18 months then I think they do another 20+ song set with a couple of surprises.

In the long term I don't foresee Live headlining many shows so I don't expect much difference to the setlists that were performed when touring with Bush and Counting Crows.

Live will continue to do the bare minimum going forward. They may mix up the previous covers but anything beyond that would be very surprising.

The fact that they only put together 4 songs and a cover on 717 after the "big" reunion and just went through a year of Covid shutdowns with no creative inspiration speaks volumes to where they are as a band.
