Hey, I'm just tossing names out there. Pick which one you'd rather have.

Bush was great. STP would be another. RHCP, DMB, Pearl Jam, Weezer, and Google Google Dolls would probably all be good matches for a 90's tour.

I was going by the Alanis & Live idea. I'm thinking Alanis would be the headliner with Live beneath and an opening band. STP might do that, but idk. It's hard for me to imagine Alanis headlining a bill with RHCP, DMB, or Pearl Jam on it. All 3 of those bands are major headliners. I know Alanis is/was too, but those three bands are bigger draws than Alanis. I'm not saying that she's small potatoes, mind you, but she has hasn't exactly been very active for most of the past decade. RHCP, DMB, and Pearl Jam have all been touring regularly in that time and still sell out shows in big venues.

I don't even think DMB or Pearl Jam would be interested in doing a tour like that, tbh. Both those bands have a huge back catalog of songs and they both play very long sets. If they even had an opening act it would probably be some small act that no one really knows about. RHCP may not be interested either, but they'd be the most likely out of those you listed I think. It would be a helluva show.

But if Alanis is headlining then having a band like Weezer, Semisonic, etc. open up for Live first before Alanis comes on would work well too.

Also... I'm not too familiar with the Google Google Dolls? They any good?

I'd rather see them with CS, given the choice, though I think there's zero chance Live would headline that. I saw BTE in the 90s, and they're good live, but it seems like a less good match up. I can't see them with Garbage.

Live and Collective Soul would be co-headline if it happened again.

I would prefer Live and Goo Goo Dolls or Alanis, but would take anything I could get.
