I never listened to Elysian Fields, but after reading her name in the credits for Ghost when SS was released, I surprised a few years later to see her pop up on an album by Dan the Automator. If you haven't heard it, it's called Lovage, it's basically Jennifer Charles and Mike Patton singing lounge/torch songs backed by trip hop beats.

I went to listen to The Turn today and discovered that those files were part of what I lost in a computer crash last month. Sigh...

I loved Bleed Your Cedar. I thought the Lovage record was ok, but I'm not a huge fan of Mike Patton.

Yep (it's a Berlin cover, from Pleasure Victim, which I like better, but the Lovage version is good too).
