Most of the album is bad, relative to LIVE standards, but the worst, tonight anyways, is Out to Dry...barely beating out Everytime I See Your Face

Good voting guys...0 votes so far for all decent songs on the album thumbsup.gif

This is the first of the "worst of threads" where I'm reading through and pretty much agreeing for the most part with what everyone says...bet most of you feel the same...guess that proves, once again, how poor this album this album is, relatively speaking


edit: I guess MAYBE I'd call What Are We Fighting For a decent song...find myself listening to it a lot just for one CT note of distortion right before the final chorus...I love that 3 seconds of that song...I'm weird, I know

Hmm. Birds Of Pray is my favorite album. I believe there are no weak tracks on it, but...

I voted for Out To Dry. Just because I had to pick one.

Hmmm

BOP had so much potential- some of it comes through at gigs. Even though the songwriting tilted to Ed and the album wasn't heavy, the songs are still alright...but...it's their production that changed with them too and this album signifies that for me. Live could have continued to SOUND like a rock band with this album but the production monkeyed it and so you have Run Away, which is the epitome of what I didn't like in their sound. Personal opinion of course, some people enjoy that sound.

Now that said, I think Bring The People Together is the weakest SONG. And yes, I like 'Stage'.

It's Bring the People Together for me. Although the guitar- works in that song are pretty good, the lyrics and the singing is pretty bad. I especially hate the chorus.
