QUOTE(dangum @ Sep 11 2020, 7:46 pm) *

I was hoping for some Live related information.

Thanks for listening. Obviously its not for everyone and everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
I have said some things on here in the past that I wish I didn't say.
I was just trying to defend my friends, however I realized that wasn't my "fight to fight".
At the end of the day, everyone can have their opinion on how and why they got back together.
From my stand point, I see four childhood friends, that just got sick and tired of arguing and knew that together they were better than apart.
I have apologized to Ed back in 2016, directly to his face for the things I've said about him on social media. He's proven to be one of the nicest guys there is and his work ethic is insane.
If I could apologize to Chris Shinn, I would do that as well. Again, shouldn't have been involved in that.
If I have said anything directly to anyone on here that was also offensive, I offer my apologies to you as well and promise to work on being better.

There will definitely be some Live related content coming out in a few weeks as I had the pleasure to interview one of the band members.
He gives some insight into how covid is affecting the entertainment industry, what they have been working on and when he thinks they will get back to touring.

A few weeks as in 2-3, or is more like the island time Live is on?

LOL - they have been laying low for sure. But they have some good stuff already completed.

Monday Sept. 28th. 12:01AM EST is when the CG podcast will come out.

What are they waiting for? Almost every other band has released more music or had some interaction with their fans.

my question was what and why is their timeline. If "their timeline" is alienating their few real fans, they are doing a good job.

Really? A podcast from our drummer who has also “yelled” at fans on Facebook?

That’s all Līve has ready?

Episode #10 - Shake Shit Up.
QUOTE
Meg and Bill talk with Toni Calderone, CEO of ONE Hospitality on mission, purpose, vision - and what it takes to thrive as a small business in 2020.

This episode is interesting if you want to know how a business is able to quickly pivot during a crisis. Toni does most of the talking in this episode.

I am really looking forward to the Chad Gracey interview next week. I hope that it is videoed (as the last few ThrillCast episodes have been).

Note: the video normally comes out a few hours after the Spotify stream.

Episode #11 is out with Chad Gracey.

QUOTE

No pain, no gain - Meg and Bill welcome Chad Gracey as they talk humble beginnings, life as the drummer for the multi-platinum rock band Līve, and the impact of Covid-19 on the music + touring industry.

***unfortunately there will not be a YouTube video of the podcast as there was some technical difficulties with recording***

SPOILERS AHEAD

The band hasn't done any recording since COVID
The band has 5-6 tracks from when they first got back together
Ed first recorded with the band in April - May 2016
Chad confirmed that Ed was the writer of all lyrics and melodies. I don't think he was referring to the recent music but for all of Live's songs
Pain Lies on the Riverside was one of Live's first tracks and it was put together in Chad's bedroom
Chad came up with the name of Public Affection (the story we all know)
Live was given an ultimatum to get a new same (label didn't like Public Affection) 2 weeks before the record was going to be pressed
Chad Taylor had a dream where he saw somebody wearing a baseball cap with the word Live written on it
This podcast was recorded around (after) the time of Chad's birthday
Chad knew then that the South Africa shows would be postponed
As far as Chad knows the Australia 2021 shows are still going ahead
Chad is a Republican
Chad is against mandatory vaccination
Chad calls the COVID-19 a "plandemic"
Chad thinks masks are pointless
Chad wants to re-open travel in the US
Chad has 3 children. Phoenix (boy) and twin girls
Chad met his wife Dinah in Las Vegas in 2002
Chad's brother works at ThinkLoud

That's about it off the top of my head. If I remember anything else I'll add it later. Chad Gracey isn't very chatty. Bill says that Ed wants to also appear on the podcast.
