I don’t mean this to be sarcastic: do we think ECCP are still a band?

No reason to believe they're not. Just typical Live inactivity and lack of communication/interaction with fans.

These guys are in the stone age when it comes to taking advantage of social media.

When Ed and Chad did their first interview together upon the reunion, Ed said he was going to definitely go back and continue to do solo stuff after Live did their thing. Now he says he's got his own project in the works. No more concerts or social media at all for Live. They're on another "2 year hiatus" and we all know what that really means.

Just saw them in concert on 2/16/20. Definitely not a 2 year hiatus.

Ed has been recording covers of old songs for years. The side project is not a new endeavor.

Today bands make money by touring. If the reunion was really with the fans in mind Live would be putting out something for them during the shutdown besides an old concert, especially since the reunion is new. I'm thinking there's no real money to be made during this covid shutdown. That's why they're nowhere to be seen.

There's more money for them in an SS anniversary tour than there is in releasing and supporting new music. That's why I think we'll see a SS re-release first. By the time bands can tour again there will be more profit in putting that out.

It is gonna be an album. Not a “new” album. An album with obscure bluesy type covers. Some of the songs have been played in previous concerts. There may be 1 or 2 “new” songs, but this one will be mostly covers.

How is that an endorsement for not being a 2 year hiatus?
You think there's going to be any rock concerts by 2/16/2022?

I really hope we have concerts well before Feb 2022.

That's Ed's solo project.

The only thing I am interested in is a full album with total commitment from all, and songwriting input from all key members.

No EPs, no more nostalgia tours, no covers or rarities. Live are supposed to be a fucking kickass original hard rock band and it's about time they started acting like one.

I want a real new record from Live as well. Totally agree they need to ditch these nostalgia tours ASAP.

I still want my Samadhi /TDTH rarities in better quality though, thanks.

Who knows the last time CCP or Ed even crafted a song. I think it was like 2013. Maybe 10000 cups counts. Zak has been the principal songwriter since then.

First things first... I just want a sign of life from them on social media that shows they are still a band, because I’m still worried now. Not some canned post of a live concert photo. A real post about what the hell they are doing as a BAND.

They tend to like to stay quiet in between tours and music. I still think they are a band, shows are scheduled for Australia.

STP already accidentally shared that those shows are cancelled. It just hasn't been announced yet.
