I just think they really don't care anymore.

Live is a job for them and not a passion. They don't create anymore - they just tour and recycle the same songs over and over. Pays the bills.

Can’t argue you with. It’s one thing to lack passion in creating, its another to totally disregard the few fans that have remained loyal throughout the decades.

Yes, I think you might be right. It’s either lack of passion, or they are super unhappy/not getting along again. If they are not getting along, it maybe might explain the silence from Ed. He was passionate about his solo efforts. Or, he had us all fooled.

In either case, lack of passion, or inability to get along, then I think they should just retire & hang it up. I never thought I’d say that. During the break up, my heart really hurt all those years. But honestly, I think the lack of effort and passion hurts worse than that ever did. The half-assery, missed opportunities, and lack of effort has driven me crazy the last two years. It’s also been embarrassing. I was SO embarrassed Bush showed them up last summer. Enough, guys. Go back to fiber optics, or whatever it is. surrender.gif

I'd bet Zak and Ed are kicking around ideas during this break. However, for me, that's not Live and never will be. Similar to the folks that don't recognize Shinn and the Turn.

Hopefully, we'll get a kick-ass reissue of SS. They have done a nice job with MJ and TC anniversaries.

I'm not ready to give up on them yet. I do hope they engage their fans while the fans and the band are all still alive and can breathe, though. This could be a very different picture in a month.

Even their recent and futue tour mate Gavin is getting in on the action. I don't understand anything Live does. They are truly an enigma.

Everyone's begging for interaction and content

just give me the recorded art and performances. the rest is bullshit. they're not socialites, it's not cool to sit in front of a computer. No need to see behind the studio curtain, no need to spoil the live show, no need to see what you ate for breakfast. Just make your art and performances cool - just like the 90's.

💥 UNDER THE SOUTHERN STARS - RESCHEDULED! 💥

In great news for Under The Southern Stars fans and patrons, the rescheduled dates of +LIVE+, BUSH and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS tour are announced today! 🤘

In an effort to ensure a safe Under The Southern Stars for all, despite the unprecedented fall-out from COVID-19 and the Federal governments ban on public gatherings, all three bands were resolute in their decision to postpone rather than cancel the tour, determined not to disappoint fans and determined to support the Australian live music scene.

Promoter One World Entertainment has been working hard behind the scenes to secure the rescheduled 2021 tour routing and thanks patrons for their patience during this time.

The rescheduled tour – which sees +LIVE+, Bush and Stone Temple Pilots alternate their playing order across nine outdoor and two indoor shows - will commence in Perth on February 16, 2021 and end on the Sunshine Coast QLD on March 7, 2021.

Special guest support acts Rose Tattoo and Electric Mary have also committed to the rescheduled dates.

+LIVE+ frontman Ed Kowalczyk said: “While the world is in an uncertain place right now, we can be certain that the UTSS festivals will go ahead in early 2021. We are super excited to get in front of our Australian fans so please, keep your tickets for the rescheduled events as they are 100% valid. We can’t wait to be playing for you very soon, so please come and celebrate with us.”

Gavin Rossdale from BUSH added: “I wanted to reach out to all our fans in Australia and say that UTSS is going to be happening in 2021. Our hearts go out to all the medical teams around the world and the first responder teams that have been taking care of everyone. We’re going to be back better and stronger than ever as an entire human race. Australia, I love you and can’t wait to be there. All tickets will be valid – so much love and take care.”

And STP’s Robert De Leo: “We thank you for your patience as we got all this sorted out. Stay safe, spend some time with loved ones and we will see you all very soon. Much love.”

As has been reported, the Australian music industry has been completely crippled by COVID-19. Those working in lighting, sound, production, rigging, security, site management, catering, ushers, not to mention the musicians themselves, are all now unemployed and, will likely be, for many months. With so many concerts and events cancelled, the industry desperately needs support and any positive news about the future is welcomed.

+LIVE+, Bush and Stone Temple Pilots have delivered that today by rescheduling rather than cancelling their tour. We hope that fans will echo their commitment and support the live music scene by retaining their tickets for next year’s rescheduled dates, rather than seeking a refund.

All 2020 tour tickets are valid for the rescheduled festival dates and no exchange is necessary, so just hold on to your tickets and we’ll see you next year. The rescheduled dates are listed below.

All ticket holders will be contacted directly via email with detailed information.

Look out for an email from us today.

There are two noticeable changes to our 2021 tour dates, being that the Tuncurry event has been cancelled. Ticket holders for Tuncurry will be contacted directly via email. We also have a new venue for our Sunshine Coast show – The Sandstone Point Hotel! All tickets purchased for Sunshine Coast Stadium will be valid at Sandstone Point Hotel. We will also be in contact shortly regarding our complimentary bus service directly to The Sandstone Point Hotel for existing ticket holders (purchased for Sunshine Coast Stadium)!

By today’s announcement, +LIVE+, BUSH and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS have signalled their support for the Australian live music scene, along with Rose Tattoo and Electric Mary. So make a diary note of the rescheduled dates, and let’s all look forward to seeing this cracking tour. Roll on 2021 we say……!

See you all in February and March 2021 for the Under The Southern Stars rock carnival! 👏⚡🤘

They can write together, and not be in the same room. I hope they and their families are well, that's the most important thing.

Yeeeaah.... because that dynamic has worked out soooooooooooooooooooo well for them in the past.

I believe Be a giver is one of their best and most iconic sounds of the last 20 years. Fucking love that song.

Last 20 years... I’m going with “Like I Do” as best, most iconic of that time frame. Re-reading, I do see you use the key word “one of their best. Okay, I’ll give you that. Be A Giver is my favorite from the EP. I love the riff.

I swing back and forth with these guys. I get so pissed at them, and then something happens like CT’s live stream last night, and then I get excited, hopeful. They always are throwing me a bone that gets me to come back.

Hopefully the COVID-19 issue will be under control in Australia by February 2021 but there has been some discussion regarding international bands coming into Australia.

There is talk that bands (and crew) will be forced to stay in 14 days quarantine when they enter Australia. What are they going to do for 14 days? Will it be financially feasible?

Currently in Australia there is very limited travel in between states - with a 14 day quarantine/self isolation period for travelers.

In November there is the "Hella Mega Tour" featuring Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy that has concerts planned for most Australian states. If this tour goes off without any issues that it would bode well for the UTSS tour.

When are Australian schools in session? What is the current plan for that?

Soooooo, I just saw an ad for Bush’s new album getting ready to drop. They’ve been on the road just as much as Līve. Where’s Līve’s new album? shrug.gif sarcasm.gif bomb.gif If the Australian tour happens, Bush is going to be playing new music, and Līve’s setlist will be the same. Grrrr.

By the way, Bush’s new single “Flowers On A Grave” doesn’t sound too bad.

Schools are running as normal in Australia. They have been for weeks.
