This is almost a dead heat for me.

The Dolphin's Cry, but it's a close one. It rocks just a bit more than BoG for me.

That said, they wrote BoG when they were teenagers, and that's damn impressive.

100% agree! In fact, just the other day online, I ran across a discussion where Mental Jewelry was not getting its due, compared to some other albums from the 90s. I stepped right up on my soapbox, and educated those strangers, just how special MJ is. This was one of my main points. Such brilliance coming from mere teenagers, and people still shrug off this album like, “Līve-Lol” or “MJ? Meh”, really steps on a nerve of mine!
