Oh wow, what a matchup. Two bangers that bang like the clappers.

They're both stunners, but I'm going with Where Fishes Go. It's strange, searching, mystical, rockin' - it's absolutely tip top tier Live and I love it.

I have to vote for Where Fishes Go. Iris is a great song, but WFG really raises TDTH up to a special place. It's one of the best songs Live has recorded, imo.

Iris.

Without it, you can't bridge I Alone to Lightning Crashes

although 1999 NYC Hammerstein ballroom WFG opener was amazing

Where Fishes Go, but I struggled with this one a lot.

On the one hand, the hauntingly creepy bass intro for Iris sets up a whopper of a rock song once it gets on its feet. On the other hand, Where Fishes Go rocks from start to finish, and there are several very memorable concerts where it just kicked off awesomeness, like Bremang mentioned above. Taylor's opening solo before the first verse is also pretty badass. "The Stomp" usually starts early in the set when this is included.

This is also another case where the recorded version of WFG pales to the live version, while Iris is mostly the same.

Both kick equal amounts of ass to drum along to, but WFG is the "funner" song to play, where Iris is the more technical song to play.

Prediction: Since the FB group seems to lean towards old school Live fans, Iris takes this one.

WFG

2 great songs! I prefer Where fishes go for its mood....dark vibe but with that uplifting message. I just have a grip on the bridge, which misses some music. I don't know if a solo was needed or anything, but that part after the second verse could have been done differently. The rest is almost perfect. I like both version the same, studio and live and I understand them for keep the long intro and the long outros for the concerts.

My prediction is the same, but these are both pretty niche songs so I could see either winning in a landslide just depending on the personal preferences of who’s voting.

That was my thought too. Iris wasn't a single, so it could make for more balanced voting.
