And you either play the game or you make shitty albums like SFBM and fade away.

I mean, he wasn't exactly skinny when he made the Turn, doesn't seem to have tarnished anyone's opinion of that record.

Edited because sometimes I use words, second guess myself, look them up, and learn something, lol.

What do you think of the era between SS and TDTH? And does anyone have more footage of them playing?

Here is more footage from a 1998 Chameleon Club show. Don't get excited, there's no New City but there is Still Aroused.

Thanks, Dan. This was one of, if not THE best point in the band's history. There was actually a sense of hope and anticipation of the music itself, there was no infighting among the fan base, and both the band AND the fans all seemed to be enjoying the magic of what was happening.

It's truly a shame what's become of the band and a number of the fans.

Here’s a video I came across, that although it’s not 1998 yet (actually late SS/1997), but tgat captures the style I tried to describe in the original post, quite well:

https://youtu.be/SQl5OCmtEvQ (Vine Street, nov 1997).

I think I heard several alternative lyrics there.

I sure still wait for Change as it seem to be a great uptempo song. And of course the mysterious New City. It would be the joke of the century if they never see the light.. I think the could have done a demo/outtake cd instead of waitinh several years between 20 years anniverseries.

1998 was probably the best time to see them in concert!

That version definitely has a lot of alternate lyrics. Which version do most people here listen to? I've always listened to the siren free version of the song. Always hated when the sirens would come on while driving around in the car.
