Tickets go on sale Thursday, this is going to be a tough ticket.

A few are already on the resale market and prices have exploded. The cheapest upper bowl seat locally is already $226.

Curious what the face value will be.

Very few El Paso tickets left, and the cheapest I can find in the nosebleeds is $459.00!! On Ticketmaster!! Some, a few rows ahead were 600-something a pop. Crazy, as I was really wanting to see them. They’re not in my top 10 favorites though, so I’ll have to pass too.

So Tom Morello tweeted that the most expensive ticket for any show is $125 dollars, and any higher price is a scalper. That doesn’t explain the prices I saw on Ticketmaster! TM tells you when it’s a resale ticket, and those 400/600 dollar prices didn’t say resale. shrug.gif

Upon further investigation, it seems a fan confronted Morello about his tweet. The crazy prices I saw are charity tickets, labeled as C on Ticketmaster.

While this article about Rage fans getting small refunds for ticket prices (and ticket prices getting cheaper) seems like it was written by a seven year old, it prompted me to check El Paso prices, and they have went down from $459 to $279.90.
