Speaking of headlining shows, they just added one in NJ, February 19th. Weird.

Anyone want to guess the setlist?

We have to be really selective with all the great concerts coming up in 2020. As I just posted in “Bands Reuniting Or Coming Out of Retirement To Tour” in “Other Music”, The Black Crowes just announced their 2020 dates & they will be performing Shake Your Moneymaker in its entirety. They are one of many. With all the choices on how to spend our money....
Līve needs to BRING IT.
(And I still think it was a massive mistake not to play TC in its entirety last summer).

This would have been at the very tip top of my list to see back in 1997.

Honestly don't know why Alanis would do that at this point though. She seems like she's perfectly content being a soccer mom and deep thinker these days anyway.

This would be taking one of the former most rocking bands ever and putting them with a contemporary adult pop act. It's more of a softening compliment than even Counting Crows. With Live getting so flimsy it's probably where they belong now musically, if not for what everyone else has mentioned - Live are so much less relevant than Alanis who is also way past her prime.

Alanis isn’t soft. Nor is she past her prime. She’s beautiful. She’s... God!
With that said, I’ve always seen her as alternative rather than pop. I don’t even consider Līve as “one of the most rocking bands ever,” as you say. That’d be like, AC/DC. Līve and Alanis would compliment each other perfectly right now. Yes, a 90’s nostalgia tour, and nothing wrong with that. People would be all over this concert billing, including Kevin Smith. tongue.gif I honestly just now noticed that connection. Maybe Kev could get Līve to play Hold Me Up. shrug.gif

Kevin Smith is irrelevant just like this hypothetical concert lineup.

Right now, pretty much the only way to talk about this band is in hypothetical terms.
Sorry if that makes you grouchy.

agree to disagree with alanis being contemporary adult pop throughout her career. She definitely never fell into the alternative category in any 90's list.

Sad but true.

Here's a hypothetical - maybe they could open for Rage Against the Machine so I can catch Lightning Crashes as I find my seat.

LOL - The dream has been shot down! 💥🔫.

Alanis Morissette is hitting the road to celebrate 25 years of Jagged Little Pill. Morissette will be touring with special guest, Garbage, as well as an appearance by Liz Phair.

I know she's toured with Garbage too (I'd kindamaybe rather see that show repeat itself, if I'm being totally honest).
