QUOTE(Possum Kingdom @ Nov 8 2019, 9:55 pm) *

Ed was weird and quirky early on but since the late 90’s he’s just cheesy. I’m just sticking around to see how this train wreck ends. Can’t look away.

Shinn was last chance this band had of making music anywhere close to their hay day.

The sad part is that they know this too.

I know. That’s exactly why I think they’re so pathetic and personality disordered.

I said it before, I will say it again. One of those Turn CDs is in Russia in my hands. They can delete anything they want and find every single cd in the US and crash it, but as long as I have a disk, this album is fucking in existence and I consider it to be great fucking music

I bought 4 copies and make sure my brother and a friend of mine (both discouraged by 2000 's Live) got one. I really don't think it's a coincidence that both listened to it a fair amount of times and liked it. Simply said, there was an effort to it by all members, including the lyric section, even though it's not perfect. When is the last time that Ed really told a story with a song? (like 6310 Rodgerton?) The last time was maybe in Parasite, a dirty shot at CT probably. I understand he wanted to do that but it was a clumsy attempt at best.

I don't think Local 717 is all that bad. But the lyrics want you to turn off that thing right away, and on 2 of these songs it's almost from the start (giver man anyone!!!)

If Ed would sing just as raw

There has been zero examples of this since 1998. He's had surgery on his destroyed vocal chords. Why does anyone think this is possible?
