Live is the same joke they've been for 19 years and the only people left defending them have $$$ conflicts of interest.

Just wanted to add that Blues Traveler is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of four by playing the album in its entirety on tour. What an interesting idea.

I see your Blues Traveller and raise you The Pixies. The Pixies are performing their first TWO albums in full when they tour Australia next year.

Heading to our shores in 2020, the band will play their 1987 EP Come On Pilgrim and 1988’s debut full-length Surfer Rosa in their entirety, plus new and old tracks spanning their extensive catalogue

There are 21 tracks on those albums.

But do you really think playing TC in its entirety will be any good? My biggest disappointment with Live's tours is that they are pretty much identical and you guys want them to play TC night after night? Sure, they'll tack on Lakini's Juice, Heaven, The Dolphin's Cry to the end of the set but it will just be a longer version of the same show.

My vote would be for TC in its entirety. Stage!!! Enough said.

Smaller crowds and a better show for fans? Sounds like Live needs to get on board.

I hear you, but for this particular tour I'd say yes. And, instead of singles they should tack on the three "new" songs at the end. If they wanted to add another single they could rotate it nightly. It would be a unique concert for one summer tour.

Then their next tour could then be something totally different (like this year should have been instead of a recycled 2018 tour with a new touring partner).

After the TC tour they could have done a greatest hits tour or some other creative set to keep it fresh. Change it every summer. Instead we'll get the same recycled set list as part of a "co- headlining" tour with (insert random 90's band here).

I actually don't mind the co-headlining summer tours because it's cool to see other bands from the era but I feel like Live is completely leaning on this for their tours.

People who casually go to summer concerts will stop showing up if Live is the same thing every time, regardless of who they tour with. They are basically banking on hitting up the fanbase of a new 90's band each summer instead of building up what they already have.

Livenation is recruiting Live for ampitheater tours. They need to continue to ride the wave while 90's nostalgia is in.

I don’t have a problem with nostalgia tours. I’ve seen many 80’s ones, some almost an exact year apart. — I cannot think of a single one that was near identical to the previous year.

My god man. Did Ed hit on your wife at some point and it appeared she liked it? Is that what this constant onslaught comes down to? That's the only thing I can think of. It's OK. Bitches like rock stars.

Yes Live has fluctuated in quality, but damm dude. Life marches on.

Since Live is catering for the casual fan, here is a quote from one:

QUOTE
The band was good, never really listened to them much before. Could have done without the covers and acoustic songs as they can really kick it when they want to.

I thought Līve VIP tickets this summer didn’t include meet and greets with fans? Seems I am seeing the contrary on FoL FB. What gives?

Are you sure these meet-n-greets were purchased as part of the VIP package for Live?

I am sure that it was not purchased as VIP. I was being sarcastic.
