back in 2003 I was hoping to hear all the new ones, heaven, like i do, what are we fighting for. They played all 3 and I enjoyed it.

I believe I went to the first or second show where they ever played Heaven and it was before any recordings of the song had leaked. I remember thinking it was awesome and enjoyed the show so much that I drove 4 hours to their next show the following night which I hadn’t planned on doing and couldn’t really afford. Now Heaven sounds like a garbage pop song to me and I won’t even go see them when they play nearby. I wonder if it was the band or me who changed more but I suspect we both did.

The song is fine and is their last “hit” in the US so they can at least defend the inclusion. That being said, there are 50+ live songs I would like to replace it at this point.

I'm the opposite, I quite like the song, but for me the message is a symptom of Live's slow decline into happy clappy bullshit.
