For those of you who have attended so far, what are the crowds like? Are these packed houses? Are they obviously there for one band more than another?

The shows I went to were packed houses, and fans were into both bands.

Live tends to sell more merchandise from what I saw., but Bush fans skew younger due to Gavin.

The venue I was at in NOLA seemed full except for the GA section in the back. It wasn’t a huge venue. It says online it holds anywhere from 4,500-9,000 people. If I had to guess, I’d say 6,500 were there.

I’m the nerd that wears the shirt of the band I’m there to see. I didn’t see anyone else wearing a Līve shirt. I did see one other woman who bought the Līve VIP ticket, because she had the little Līve drawstring on her back. This time the crowd was livelier for Līve than the Counting Crowes crowd was last year. However, when Bush hit the stage (last), the crowd went nuts, way more so than for Līve.

For the opening night of the tour, I'd say Foxwoods was about 70-80% filled. The top of the mezz was mostly empty. On one hand, it was a Thursday night in the middle of nowhere. On the other hand, it was the opening night of the tour and the place only holds about 5,000 to begin with.

Foxwoods was pretty decent. I was in the lower section which was sparse for OLP, but it filled in by Live.

Gilford was on the small side. But it's an outdoor/pavilion venue with mostly lawn capacity. It was also a rainy night that dipped into the low 40s.
