Ed is asked about The Turn (at the end of the interview)

Ed said he never listened to The Turn and they agreed to erase it from the discography like it never happened. finally an interviewer asking a new question
also, ed kept mentioning that new music is coming, not sure the format. Might be a couple singles that build up to an album.

^ Starts there. Obviously we knew this already by their actions, but yeah.

Still holding out a tiny bit of hope that Ed and Chad go back to the FaceCulture interviewer in the Netherlands. He'd give them a proper grilling.

Interviewer: I'll only ask a bit awkwardly here, does the album The Turn have a place in your catalogue, or is that um, is that sort of something else?-

The EK: -nope. Nope, honestly never even listened to it. And when we got back together we, you know, we decided that, you know, hey this is, this is the original and um, yeah, we're gonna, rearrange the discography to reflect the fact that um, the... the, you know... the original band is back and, yeah, so no... that's not part of it anymore.

The band can't stop the distribution of the album and they didn't. The label and the distributor did. And I tell the truth. And anyone that knows me I am always brutally honest. Fact!!

I hope CCP is asked about The Turn in an interview. It's one thing for Ed to dismiss it but for them to do it would be entirely different.

I get why Ed never listened to The Turn, or at least claims to. You don't want to see your ex wife's new wedding album. But with that said, I wish Ed heard it so he could know where CCP were at musically.

He's mentioned The Gracious Few in an interview with The Morning Call and didn't seem to poo poo the idea of CCP making music without him. "I think I'm bringing, in some way, all of that with me as, now, Live reunites. And the guys, too. You know the guys had The Gracious Few [a side group with Kevin Martin and Sean Hennessy of Candlebox] and they went out and were doing there their thing. And so in some strange way, we've all met up again, but we're also bringing all this extra life experience and performance experience that is really benefitting what people are feeling now as a band."

I wonder if Ed is a fan of TGF. I'm not sure he's ever given an opinion on whether he liked them or not.

I think he responded to it when asked during the very early days of TGF. If I remember correctly, he claimed to not really having the time to listen to it yet. Yeah, wonder how he looks at it now.
