STP 25th Anniversary of Purple was just announced. I really like what they are offering. Similar to what Live has done.

Am I missing something? I already have Purple on vinyl, but I have the option of getting all three discs without having to buy the vinyl. (I didn't have Core on vinyl so I bought the Super Deluxe version of that two years ago)

As far as I can tell, though, if you want the extra Woodstock tracks, you need to buy the expensive version. Is there just a version with the remastered album, outtakes, and live tracks for TC?

No, that's pretty spot on unless you live in Australia. I'm not buying a deluxe package from Live just to get a Woodstock disc. STP has better options for fans.

Yeah, I mean, I am a bigger STP fan than Live, but a big Live fan as well. I thought long and hard about getting the package so I could get the Woodstock tracks, but I just could not justify the price difference for so few tracks.

Yeah, there's a new "single" for I Alone from Woodstock '94 on Google Play. Hold Me Up is still not available there yet, though...

Damn! What a great performance. Can't wait to hear the entire show. I had a couple of songs from Woodstock on an old cassette that was recorded off the radio.

Looks like we will have to order the entire TC reissue on iTunes to get Susquehanna. Ugg. Wish they’d release the song as a single.

Ed mentioned they found a multi track recording of the show. The Club Babyhead recording is most likely a soundboard.

I think the mix is spot on. Hard to expect much from a live recording in 1994. Babyhead was heavy on the drum and bass, woodstock has guitars and vocals to the front. Kind of appropriate for their eras.
