I was there for that and it was so awkward I can’t believe they keep doing it. Then again I bet Rodman makes Ed do a lot of stuff he doesn’t want to do.

Rodman hired them to play one of his weddings.

Please tell me photos/videos/recordings of this exist. Very hard to track this stuff down since Live is the least googleable band name of all time.

I was at the show. The majority of the people there were industry people and had some kind of connection to the bands or Live Nation. I was up front and chatted with Live fans, but everyone else seemed to know someone. For example, one guy was a DJ who is friends with one of Live's manager's clients. That level of connection to the show was typical.

The event definitely existed to gather promotional photos and videos for the tour. Live played first and went about 40 minutes. Bush played second and played about 45 minutes. This was not a concert for diehard fans of either band.

Both bands gave a small taste to get people to come back to the show at the Greek happening later this year. Both bands ended leaving you wanting more.

I don't fault Live for the setlist. This was a nostalgia show for a crowd who may not have heard a Live song in 20 years. I do think though if they ended with White Discussion they would have blown the roof off.

I've said it before, but Live is a great opening band. They're a band that many people have forgotten about, but once they hear them they go "Oh yeah I remember that song!" followed later by "Wow they sound great!". Any bigger 90s act would be wise to have Live open for them, but for selfish reasons I hope they go back to headlining and playing 90+ minute set lists.

Overall, fun night and glad I went. Happy to answer any questions.
