I can’t do lawn tickets either.

This discussion reminds me of one of the funniest cartoons ever. -The Regular Show when Rigby and Mordecai were working overtime for tix to their favorite band, Fist Pump.

I want the super deluxe sparkly seats they get. lol.gif

Have to say it's very interesting that when I select Bush ticket options seats in row 1 are available for $375 but when I select Live the entire Orchastra section has been blacked out and the closest seats are first row of the second section (row J) for $174.50. Was like that the second they went on sale.

You can get a seat in the front section by choosing Bush or Platinum options, but Live was completely blacked out.

Was similar for the Crows tour. Not sure why Live and Bush wouldn't offer a similar package and opportunity for top tickets, unless Live is only "co-headlining" in name.

i can't tell if this is supposed to be sarcasm or not but they've been using the same basic setlist for 2+ years now. i'd imagine they'll change it up before the summer tour.

Looks like Bush is coming out with a new album and Gavin was not interested in playing Sixteen Stone from start to finish on this tour because he never liked when people do that. I'd say "what about the fans?".

BUSH Is Working With TYLER BATES On 'Deep,' 'Wide' And 'Heavy' New Album
March 25, 2019

BUSH Is Working With TYLER BATES On 'Deep,' 'Wide' And 'Heavy' New Album
BUSH frontman Gavin Rossdale has told Yahoo! Entertainment that he is currently recording the band's next album at a Los Angeles studio with film composer Tyler Bates, who has previously worked with Marilyn Manson.

"I just came from the studio now," he said. "And I sang 11 songs in. And it's just deep and wide and heavy like the ocean." He went on to describe the sessions with Bates as "amazing and liberating." He added: "It's exciting. It sounds amazing."

Rossdale also said that he hopes to release a new single before BUSH hits the road with LIVE later this spring. "The Alt-Imate Tour", a co-headline summer run, will see BUSH and LIVE celebrating the 25th anniversary of their respective landmark albums "Sixteen Stone" and "Throwing Copper". Produced by Live Nation, this hits-packed road show will hit arenas and outdoor amphitheaters in 33 cities across the country, kicking off June 6 in Mashantucket, Connecticut, with stops in Boston, Los Angeles, Atlanta and more before wrapping September 8 in Rochester, Michigan at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre.

Rossdale told Yahoo! Entertainment that he considered a tour on which BUSH played all of "Sixteen Stone", but explained: "I've never liked when people do that, because that just felt like you build your own box. Why are you building a box? You're like building a house with no door. I don't like that. I like having big windows. I like the future. I like the moment. I'm happy with the past, and I'm going to play these songs because I lived them, but I'm going to sing them about tonight."

BUSH's latest effort, 2017's "Black And White Rainbows", was crafted after the frontman went through a divorce with pop star/reality TV judge Gwen Stefani in 2015.

BUSH's current lineup also includes drummer Robin Goodridge, guitarist Chris Traynor and bassist Corey Britz.

The group, which broke up in 2002 but reunited in 2010, has released three albums since reforming.

Is Live still cool with audience taping of their shows? I remember when Chris Shinn was in the band, Live said that it was fine to record.

No band gets to deny audience taping anymore. Everybody has a video recorder in their pocket and half the crowd is using it. Chad has said back in the day that its fine to bootleg

Live Nation's National Concert Week Brings $20 Tickets To More Than 2,800 Shows

For the fifth year, Live Nation is putting on its National Concert Week, providing discounted tickets to shows from the likes of The Who, Jennifer Lopez, Dierks Bentley, Mary J. Blige & Nas, Slipknot, Backstreet Boys, Gloria Trevi, Santana, The Black Keys, Sara Bareilles, Brad Paisley, Wiz Khalifa, Zac Brown Band, and many more.

The promotion will offer more than 2 million tickets to more than 2,800 shows at a price of just $20, but these discounted tickets will only be available for one week. T-Mobile customers get an exclusive presale beginning April 30 at 5 a.m., through it's T-Mobile Tuesdays program. The general public gets access to National Concert Week tickets Wednesday, May 1 through Tuesday May 7.

National Concert Week is also celebrated in Europe, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Ed Kowalczyk of Live, which is touring with Bush this summer and participating in NCW, spoke to Pollstar about the significance of concerts.

"When we reunited and we jumped right into these amazing festivals, I could just tell right away, they're more important than ever, these communal gatherings that music has always been about, people are more engaged and hungry for it than ever," Kowalczyk said. "Our lives are so disconnected from standing next to someone and rocking out, everyone is one their phone all the time. When you get in those concert environments, people are like 'Hell yeah,' this is what it's all about."

Kowalczyk broke apart from Live in 2009, but the band reunited in December of 2016 and has since played a slew of festivals and gone on tour with Counting Crows.

"Since the reunion, there's been this extra level of excitement and energy in the band and gratitude for each other. We're just having a blast and it's really coming across in the music and how we're performing it, there's a freshness to it.

"I'm really excited to be touring with Bush and Our Lady Peace, I think it's a great package, lots of great songs. Between those bands its going to be a pretty special event."

The full list of artists participating in National Concert Week can be found below. A full transcription of Pollstar's interview with Live's Ed Kowalczyk will be posted next week as tickets go on sale for National Concert Week. You can learn more about NCW at https://ncw.livenation.com.

I just saw this. Kind of annoying after buying New Orleans tickets for myself, but on the positive side, now I’ll get to see them more than once this year.

I also just rechecked their tour dates. They have a couple dates with Bush early September and that’s all until two festivals in late September. Makes me wonder they will book more festivals or.... tour by themselves?! happy.gif I know, wishful thinking.
