They said it's going to be a 17 song album, right? I'm guessing disc 2 is not limited to 6 songs..

The original release date for Throwing Copper is April 24, 1994. I was hoping it would be released this month but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. When do you think the anniversary edition of TC will be available? Before the kickoff of their summer tour?

Also, I don't think this has been mentioned on the forum but Live's Woodstock 1994 concert will be on vinyl as well.

some thoughts on why i think live's 6 songs might be the full show:

live played during the day and candlebox played after dark, as per videos on youtube. makes sense candlebox set would be longer if they were higher up the bill.

6 songs from live would be about a 30 minute set. i don't remember exactly when during 1994 live really blew up but in theory they would have been booked and the set length locked in before throwing copper plopped. candlebox and collective soul both played after live and both hit it big in 1993.

also, the list of bands from that particular day is much longer than the other days of the festival, so shorter sets makes sense.

How long was it between the live single for PLOTR from the Roxy and the Mental Jewelry re-release? I wonder if they'll really do Hold Me Up for the single or something safer, like one of the Woodstock performances.

Maybe a dumb question, but was PLOTR an official single from MJ anniversary release? Or was it just leaked or previewed early through Rolling Stone or some other media outlet? Trying to remember and I’m always too lazy to dig through the board.

You don’t know what joy it would bring me if they would release Hold Me Up as a single in May or June and even do a video as someone else has suggested. I just don’t see them putting forth that kind of effort.

It was issued as a pre-release in Google Play as well. Don't know about other platforms. That's all I'm expecting for whatever they do with the TC reissue as well. I doubt there'll be a physical single.

It would be such a waste if they didn’t promote the hell out of this song. But I’m quite sceptical as well about it, especially as we haven’t seen anything that hints to it. We can hope tho!

The band has intentionally held onto this song for so long so surely this will get a proper single release, whatever that looks like these days (I think it should look like this )
