I honestly might sue for defamation of character.

Number one sign that you are embarrassed to be listening to Live:

Your in the car, "The River" somehow comes on, nobody is around so you are listening... then someone approaches the car and is about 100ft away... you immediately change the song lol.gif

I think more bands should take the Beatles approach to recording during their prime. Just keep producing as much content as you can while in your prime years... then worry about touring later.

Even seeing Live now... as a fan since '92... I find myself asking "Do I really want to see them play live anymore?". We all know it's going to be the same setlist, same songs we have heard live now for decades. They might as well just pipe in the audio from the albums and have their instruments muted.

If they changed up their setlist then ok... but right now we all know what the first song is going to be and probably the rest of the 14-15 songs before they leave the stage and CC comes on our Collective Soul... or Filter...

I’ll admit it. And while I’d love to see them headline smaller venues (because duh, no bad seat in the house), I don’t think they are going to do it yet. Hopefully one day they will. I don’t think there’s any shame in touring with another 90’s act. I really don’t understand why it’s deemed embarrassing by some to do so. -Please do explain! I’ve been clamoring for them to tour with Alanis Morrissette. That’d be my dream bill; it would sell some tickets!! Although I think Līve would deserve to headline, I’ve accepted that she would.
I get made fun of too, from people in my own household to friends. I had to beg at work to have someone join me for their show last summer. I don’t like going to concerts alone. Finally, one of my besties accepted, but when she told her fiancé where we were going, he said, “Līve?! Shouldn’t they be opening up for a Nirvana cover band in a bar?” Yea, it’s like that. aggressive.gif

I'm not embarrassed to say I'm a fan, because I love a lot of 90s music. The good thing is they weren't popular by the time all their crappy music came out anyway. People remember zero about Live after The Dolphin's Cry. That was a pretty huge single. They might as well have all died after that, for all the public knows. Remember that Jet TV session they had in 2000, and most of it got released on the TSUFL single? That's the Live I love and am proud to say I am a fan of. 1991-2000 was magical. 2001 they had bad luck with the timing of the album and based on everything you read, including the stuff from CT, that's when everything went downhill....and it shows. I remember forcing myself to like BOP.....it does have some kickass songs on it, but the pussification of Live was on. Even SFBM has some good stuff - Night of Nights, Get Ready is decent, a few songs have a decent groove. Not early Live stuff but decent. If you took the best 3-4 songs off of their last 3 albums, you've have a decent record. Nothing from their latest EP would make it.

Someone else just posted it and they are right....it's amazing how bands can do no wrong at certain times.....they left We Deal in Dreams and Hold Me Up off of TC!! Can you imagine if they could write a song like that now??? Let me rephrase, if ED could write a song like that now? CCP still have it, they are just castrated by Eddie. As I've said many times, their two non Ed albums prove it. Ed has been the death of this band.

I just found some of Ed's website coffee in my closet, do you think it would still percolate? happy.gif

and c'mon, the music is so brickwalled, the chorus, which should be louder, is actually quieter than the verses! Hey guys, you compress music like that to be heard on the radio (even though it shouldn't be done period and is completely unnecessary).....this shit ain't going anywhere near any FM stations, so at least give us some dynamics!

I hate pounding on this band, they used to be so damn good. facepalm.gif

I’m with you man. They used to be the best band out there. That was last millennium. They absolutely suck now. The fall has been historic to the point that nobody but us even realizes it.

Here are a couple of pics of the package. Black record comes in a cardboard slip case. Pretty basic and bare bones. Click on pics for higher res.

So the crosses near the song titles, aren't they supposed to point to who collaborated on the song?

Based on the effort put into the EP I'm not surprised they didn't go all out for the vinyl sleeve.
