There's plenty more where that came from. If you've really never read CT's letter response before then you're in for an absolute treat. Check out this thread. (His actual response comes somewhere around page 13-14 I think).

Thank you!!

When I ordered Local 717 the website said it would ship on 10/26. After my purchase the website changed to 11/2. Just got notice today that my item just shipped today. That is horrible customer service from their vendor.

All the info is there, but it's just a very simple, single gatefold. No booklet or anything.

The casing is exactly the same as Radiant Sea. Very white and washed out brick effect on the inside. If I get a chance I'll add photo's later.

One thing I noticed is that they listed the website as www.theBandLive.com, not the www.freaks4live.com that they had decided to go with a while back. Both take you to the same place, but they dropped freaks as their official listing.

Music is also not credited to Live. The credits mostly go to Ed with additional credit given on some songs.

I noticed that right away. Taylor got composition credit on the second track, wish someone would have stepped in and axed the first line.

I don't see Pat D's name anywhere near Brother.

No wonder it sucks.

I waited for the physical CD before I really gave these songs a listen.
Since it's arrived I've had it on loop. IMO there are two stand out songs and a huge drop off after that.

Here's how I rank the songs:

#1 - Be A Giver, Man - I hate the first line, straight up. Beyond that I think this song is amazing. Best thing they have released since TDTH. Great riff, great message. I feel that this is one opening line away from being all over the the radio.

#2 - Love Lounge - Like the sound and the pace. Nice bridge and solo element. Makes sense as the first single. Really good song in concert.

-

#3 - Waterfall - Not horrible but nothing special. Another song that references water, displays Ed's lyrical rut. Sounds like it is straight off an Ed solo album.

#4 - Brother - Honestly I dont understand the hype from other fans on this. Don't care for the intro, the set up of the verses, or the refrain. Seems like a few different songs mashed into one. IMO, this song is a skip. I will say I like the guitars but the rest of the song doesn't go with it.

Venus In Furs - there are so many great songs out there to cover, I dont understand why they settled on this. Didn't care for it at first but the more I've listened to it the more it has grown on me. Feel like it has a sort of SS vibe to it. I would put this above Brother if it were an original.

Love the fact that they finally put out new material!

Someone mentioned that Live has "lied in their interviews since the PA days," but I cannot figure out which thread that was on... but it got me wondering, do we think the 15 or 16 (or whatever the number was) pre-Love Lounge songs really exist... other than 10,000 Cups, there's no proof, is there?
