I speculate whether they have other ventures like Think Loud, United Fiber, Chad Gracey's company, and their families, so maybe there is no way they're going to be passionate about commiting to Live full time. Gracey can't even drum anymore and Ed can barely rock, so how do they begin adding a good album to the legacy they want to salvage? Recorded music hardly sells if you aren't a huge star, so where is the benefit in blowing tens of thousands on making a real album?

I think they just don't care about their product anymore. Money is made on touring and Ed is a big part of it.

Tour with Ed and write new tunes under TGF with Shinn and Martin.

Live doesn't change their setlist anyway so they can continue to play the hits from the 90's soundtrack. Hell, they're only a bassist away from Ed touring without them. Let Ed use the Live name and take a cut of the purse.

They always say don't shit where you eat. Well, now since they sold out to Ed they have to also eat the shit...
