I only was able to get back to Australia in April and bought TFATH. Its great! Why didnt anyone tell me! Its the best thing Ed has done since SS!!!

Great work from Ed. Hope the negative people who like to criticize Ed have a good listen!!

Fav songs are 'Take me Back', 'All that i wanted', 'Holy Water Tears', 'Seven', 'Bottle of Anything' and 'Bottle of Anything'. Only listened to it about 10 times so these songs may change.

Great stuff!

Dan

This album totally feels like a lost one. What makes that so wild is this is the strongest stuff Ed did in his solo work, and in my opinion is the most cohesive writing he's done since The Distance to Here. After listening several times this summer, I feel there really isn't filler. He doesn't try to over-sing, it's not too preachy (like Alive was), and it's a good by-the-numbers adult contemporary rock album. Songs like The One, Parasite and Take Me Back are straightforward and energetic rockers. Basically with Ed focusing on Throwing Copper a lot in 2014, this one seemed to get lost in the shuffle. I haven't seen a set list from back then that does more than a few of the Flood songs at a time. And I get it, with the reunion and new EP -- that's where the focus is going to lie. I'm just as pumped for this next Live era. I'm just a little surprised this release came and went so quietly, including an impressive cameo from a member of R.E.M.

Are any of you big fans of this? What are your thoughts??

It sucks, but not as much as the new one.

Thank you! I was inspired by the profound lyrics on 717!
