I don't hate what I've heard, but it is generic rock. None of the soaring, atmospheric stuff we used to get from the band, it doesn't even have as strong melodies as SFBM, which was like Live with its balls cut off.

This is like a totally different band, with its balls cut off.

I liked Love Lounge and Giver the instant I heard them (especially Giver). Waterfall, no. It reminds me of Ed solo and now I’m kinda scared. But I’ll reserve further judgement until the 12th when I hear the entire song. Hopefully, my opinion will change.

I agree. Touring with Ed has the potential for them to make money more so than with TGF and Shinn. They know they are sacrificing their artistical integrity for the chance at more $$$. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that because I would do whatever it takes to support my family. It will wear them down again just like all of the years leading up the hiatus. We're already seeing it with the same stale setlist and almost zero collaboration on this EP. Rinse and repeat...



My prediction: Ed will own the Live brand and will tour without CCP in the next year or two.

There will be a physical release on CD and vinyl through freaks4live.com after the digital release.

As for single, it's digital only, but yes, it will be released a day ahead of the EP.
