Since he didn’t mention 10,000 Cups in the interview, I wonder if they have just scrapped it. I also am curious which title is the song snippet from Instagram. -Be A Giver Man would be my first guess.

Also, in finishing the read, I have new understanding of why Love Lounge is light and fun and not having the deep/serious lyrics that many have dissed.

I wouldn’t be too sure of 10000 cups (or dis Ed mention it in thr interview?)
They planned to play it live than decided not too. Who knows what the reason was (maybe it evolved in something else, maybe they didn’t like it anymore). And remember they had more than 5 songs written but only 5 will make the EP. But maybe we’ll indeed hear it on the EP.

I have a feeling Be a giver man is the ‘Instasong’, with CT coming up with the riff.
Waterfall is very likely a song that was gonna be on Eds third solo album (altough the boys gave it adifferent energy).

Kinda weird thing is that Ed stressed in different interviews how great Zak is (which I won’t deny), but it would be nice to give his brothers in LIVE a little more attention when talking about new music by the band. Also calling Zak ‘our other guitarist’ (not tour-guitarist) and ‘guitarist in my solo band’ (as a current thing) sound weird, but in a written interview you never know how they changed Eds words.

There's 5 songs on the EP and Ed only named two of them which leaves 2 songs un-named. I think it's plausible that 10,000 cups is still on the EP. After hearing Ed sing be a giver man on the other interview, I'd be surprised if that was the chorus to the song clip we heard on Instagram.

I'd be surprised if 10,000 Cups didn't make the EP. The band isn't known for their work ethic. Once a song is in the can that's that. No point in spending energy creating better music.

I believe Adam K received a good amount of praise for his tenure with the band. Why would it be different with someone else filling that spot?

People on this board have been pretty objective regarding Zak. Some like him in the band, others do not. It hasnt even been close to overwhelmingly positive.
