Who are these higher powers that forced the new clip to come down? Live have been talking on and on about how they don't have to answer to anybody and that they will release music at their leisure.

I thought that was weird also, they are the powers that be.

Me too, man. Actually, if they just reach deep for just one song a night for us hardcore fans... and switch that one song up. Surprise me! Then I promise I won’t complain.

On the last tour they made new arrangements for the Distance with the little jam in the middle, and there's no way Live are just going to throw that song away after they put all the work into it. They love to recycle (see I am The Highway). Plus it heavily features Zak Loy, who is now basically Live's main guitarist.

I actually love the song, and when I saw Live play it in 1999 I thought it was very tough to do it justice in concert because of the demanding vocals and how the recording is so heavily centered around the sample. But I am also not a fan of seeing "Zak Loy and friends". He just doesn't sound like Live and they just basically give him the stage for that song.

I agree we probably won't be hearing these except Dance With You. After reading the transcripts that song was mentioned a few times and I could see it making it's way in as one of their "surprise" songs. Dam at Otter Creek maybe as an opener?

The only reason i can see it being taken down is because of this marijauna bowl/pipe in the video, but i highly doubt it because you can't see any drugs.


I really don't know Instagrams policies on that stuff though.

lol dude. It was taken down because there was a new song in the clip. Do you have any idea how many weed images and videos have been spread on social media this 4/20? It's legal in many places. A bowl itself doesn't even have any drug use being shown.

So, i guess Live does have to answer to someone about their music, or they took it down themselves. I was trying to think of some weird reason why it would we would have been taken down besides the music itself.

Pat did say there was some stuff lined up for the diehards, so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed. I'm also pretty excited about this new single/EP/record. If the single drops before the tour, that's less than 2 months.

I think some of these might be what they're planning for deep cuts. I'd love Face and Ghost, but I'd love an outtake or b-side more. I'll be watching for a review of that Boise show, for sure.

Edit: I just remembered CG dropped Mallrat by name. How cool would that be...
