Counting Crows sucks live. So fucking boring. Instead of singing he talks through a lot of it and it's almost like a poet reading instead of singing. So glad we get to pay a premium price to see Live open for these jagoffs.

Another cookie cutter setlist too.

The hits with maybe a new tune.

Live is clearly the "Special Guest" as seen here.

So I'm guessing they will only have a 40-50 minute set? cry.gif
The Detroit show is listed $29.50 - $125.00.

They'll be playing a 70 minute set.

Their Instagram account says they'll be playing a "full 70 minute set"

That's an oxymoron , right?

There's a lot of complaints here, but I'm west coast so this will be the first time I saw Live since the House of Blues show in Texas in 2009 right before they broke up. Many of you have gotten to see Live since then, but they've given no love to the PNW. I'm excited and appreciative of any set and will even stay for the Crows too if I paid for them. guitar.gif

The North American amphitheater trek begins July 18th in Nashville and concludes six weeks and 19 shows later in Phoenix, Arizona on September 2nd. Each group will perform a full set in a different order each night on the "revolving headline run." "

Live is playing 70 minutes, I doubt those three bands will play any longer than Live.

No Arizona dates? If they're playing armpits like Tupelo, MS. and Pelham, AL. they could at least play Tucson? WTF.

I think Counting Crows were just in Tucson, right? That’s probably why. I’m actually surprised they aren’t hitting Phoenix, though.

70 minutes?!? Man, I was hoping for an even coheadlining of -90 min. and 90 min. Just how long was their set at the recent Australia shows? I am so envious of those. sad.gif

At the Sydney, Australia (ICC Theatre) show on March 1st the set was about 1hr. 40min. (100 min.). That set was 19 songs.

I like Counting Crows well enough. The only other time I saw Live was last time they were opening for them. I got a decent ticket to the Detroit show through the Live pre-sale option, so this should be fun. Any other MI folks going?

Don't have tickets yet but I'll be there. Planning to pick them up at the box office when I go to see Dave Matthews Band.

Neither am I. Because of that doubt, I forked over money today for my tix. Had a snafu logging in and so 10 minutes after the presale started, I got 7th row. I’m going to trust what Ed said on Insta, that they will be able to play 16 songs in the 70 minutes. I think when I hear a new song in its entirety is when reality will hit and I’ll get super excited for the show.
