I would like if they swapped in Freaks, Beauty of Grey, Mother Earth is a Vicious Crowd, TDAOC, and Gas Hed - but I'm not a casual fan that they are targeting with this tour.

Yeah, i am with ya on all of those, and they did perform Beauty of Gray at this show. I would get rid of the 2 cover songs and TDC and PLOTR and perform "you are the world", "shit towne", "century" and "Insomnia and the Hole in the Universe" (I wish) instead.

Run to the Water, eh, just not my style. You can't sit there and tell me with a straight face you'd rather hear it live than Stage. Or Heropsychodreamer. Or Freaks. Or TDAOC. I could go on...

I'm all about rock songs or rare songs in theory, but in when I saw RTTW in 2003 it unexpectedly blew my mind. Sure, the 2017 version of RTTW won't be as good, but I think stage would be terrible now, these guys are too old.

When Ed performed Stage on his solo full-band TC tour, he slayed it!!
Also what about Lakini's Juice-it's just as heavy?! --They are absolutely rockin' that currently. This summer's Pinkpop performance of LJ...Ed and Chad's foot stomping was the highlight for me.

After midnight? Wow! A weird time to start a headlining show. You can erase my post then, but I strongly believe that they should have plugged 1-2 deeper tracks on a headlining set.

Not to mention as an official Lolla after show, they probably had to wait to go on that late until after the main Lolla events were over. I was there, it was awesome. It's crazy, too, that they dug deep for Mirror Song!

I don't think your post needs to be redacted, because even at 15 songs (due to a late night show), these points of yours are still valid. I feel they are being lazy too. Just think if they would have swapped Heaven for Stage!! And if they opened up with Dam At Otter Creek and dumped that Run to the Water crap. And I'm getting tired of I Am the Highway (no offense Cornell). Scrap that for You Are the World or another deeper cut or rarity.

I don't think I'm going to shell out the money and time to see them in Austin in October now. I've made up my mind. I love them, but damn.

I get that everyone has deeper tracks that we would all like to see them dig into, and I believe in time they will again. But, right now it's about the original lineup re-establishing and feeling comfortable with their presence together on stage. And they truly look and sound like they're having a blast. So, instead of us wanting more and scrutinizing what is happening ... in 2017 and beyond, we should all be grateful that there's new life and energy into this group. I mean, heck, they are working on a new album and are releasing a 25th Mental Jewelry set that includes a high quality recording of an early show. Now's not the time to get frustrated with them, with all due respect. I was at Park West and that show, though pretty much a safe setlist, floored me!!

I beg to differ, Run to the Water at that Park West show was solid. I was in awe. And to comment on them being too old, I wouldn't think so. I get this vibe that they're in the rocking out mode again. I wouldn't be surprised if the new material is somewhat heavy!
