Didn't know that, but i am sure they go with Hold Me Up also. Well, Grandfalloon (maybe Chad T.) mentioned Spew, so it just made me think.

I think it would be "Hold Me Up" as well. I've always felt weird calling it Spew.

Funny you should mention Grandfalloon, because when I read his comment the other day, I'm now undecided if Chad T. is him and not Old Man Withers? Didn't Chad and Ed work at a restaurant in York called Granfalloon?

I'd be surprised if Chad has ever said anything as cringe-worthy as any of Granfalloon's posts.

I agree that Hold Me Up is the official copyrighted name, and Ed keeps calling it hold me up throughout 2009. But to be fair didn't Ed call it Spew during one of those shows in 2009 as well? Can anyone find the video of when they first played it in concert?

You guys did an amazing job cleaning these up. If I heard the flac version without ever hearing the original version I'm pretty sure I'd assume it was a mixed version that was almost finalized.

I still can't believe this great track was never released. If the band thought it was good enough to hold back as a single, then why not include it on Awake? And then it does come out in a movie, but not on the soundtrack album? I can't recall something like that ever happening and certainly not with a strong track from a band's heyday. I would think they missed their opportunity with that song. At least in conjunction with the movie it could have had some airplay on the radio and maybe caught on with new fans who liked it in the movie.

Since MJ was just released for it's 25th Anniversary there would be no better time to release it than the 25th Anniversary TC set in 2019!

I was reading the comments on the Hold Me Up Remastered video on youtube and the first comment some dude says he heard it on the radio. That does not sound true to me. Anybody else seriously doubt Hold Me Up would be on the radio?
