Does anybody know of any service that streams these old SNL episodes? I know Hulu has recent episodes but their archive no longer goes back as far as the 90s.

It looks like Amazon has partnered with some service (Seeso), and full episodes are on there. The Chevy Chase episode with Live is listed here:

Look at the run times. I don't think the band performances are included on those videos. The lack of anything about which band is playing in the descriptions points to that as well

Does anyone have Selling The Drama SNL 1995?

I downloaded the 1995 and 1997 SNL shows on a torrent site. Full shows, including both musical performances. Unfortunately they have been sourced from VHS tapes so the quality isn't the best.

I will upload both later this weekend and post links.

I have reserved a copy of the "Saturday Night Live 25 Years of Music dvd (5-Disc set)" at my local library.
I'm waiting for it to be shipped from another library to mine, should get it within the next week or so.
I Alone is on disc 4 and i will rip a good copy when it comes in (if the dvd isn't damaged).
If anyone else can get this and try, that would be great, since i can't promise anything.

AWESOME! thank you so much! great episodes. Thanks for sharing. if anyone is interested, I have made copies of the episodes and tweaked the audio a little and trimmed them down to just the songs to make good quality M4A files of all 4 songs.

I made a copy of I Alone from the SNL dvd, but it is 861 mb. yeah real big file for a 4 minute song. Thing is, i have a real old computer and i still use windows vista so i used the only option i had to make the file.

Well, here it is, it turned out really good, and it has 2 audio tracks to choose from (one regular sound and one surround sound).

I actually picked this up from the library today. It is easy to mux the elementary streams from the DVD VOB files into an MPG or MKV without re-encoding. I can do this and upload in a bit.

I know it is easy, but not on my computer, i tried that, trust me, it has a codec error every time.

bummer. you shouldn't need codecs though since you aren't encoding or playing anything. You can use PGCdemux to extract the elementary streams, and then mux into a MKV with MKVtoolnix. That allows you to set in and out timecodes.

I used Womble to snip out the clip instead of MKVtoonix. Still no re-encoding but a little easier to see the in-out points. PGCdemux, MKVtoolnix, and Womble should all run on an older Vista machine with little problem. If you want some more info, shoot me a PM.

Anyway, the segment on the DVD for I Alone (using the stereo PCM track) is ~195 MB. here is the link:
