ROTR Facebook says, "Our hearts are filled with sorrow, but the show must go on. Please join us immediately after Live's performance for a special tribute to Chris Cornell."

Does anyone know if there's a live stream to tune into, somewhere?

Looks like they are going to be broadcasting Live's performance on SiriusXM, it says it will air from 11pm - 12am (eastern time) tonite. If you scroll down to Live's name it tells you the time.

Here is the link:

My 30 day trial had expired with Siriusxm, but i have another email account, so i was able to get another 30 day free trial. I will try to record it tonite, but i have been suffering from this crazy chest cold, so i can't promise anything.

Thank you for the Sirius info, TC. I wasn't aware of the free trial; cool.
I noticed on YouTube there's a channel for a stream. Anyone experienced with this? Do you have to be a member of something to access?

Have you got a link? Most of the "livestream" links for concerts on YouTube are fake. So unless it comes from an official source (ROTR, Sirius etc.) it's probably not going to show what you want to see.

I don't mean to be a Kevin Martin fan boy, but he could hit some of those Chris Cornell notes and I don't know for sure, but I would imagine they might have known each other as members of the Seattle grunge community. If they are going to do a tribute to Chris, I think it would be cool if Kevin sang a little and maybe performed "Far Behind" for Chris.

Also, by the way, that old thread that Bremang linked was a doozy! Yikes, one of the low points around here for me, and it really was a jumping-off point for me at the time with regard to Ed. Of course, time heals all wounds, water under the bridge, blah, blah blah. But I still stand by my indignation about a certain lead singer's comments about being disappointed with seeing Chris Cornell because he just wasn't "feeling it" because he didn't perform Christian/Gospel music. I will give that certain lead singer the benefit of the doubt that he re-thought all of that since those posts were deleted from Facebook. But man that bugged me at the time. Not to bring up a bad subject, and I imagine expressing views like that will hurt my chances of ever getting "Meet and Greets", but just say'in...

I think there would be almost no chance Kevin shows up.

Kevin learning a song on short notice, taking a flight, getting paid, and Ed letting him take the stage in their short set?

Live are there to earn fans and followers for themselves.

Ed is perfectly capable of singing like a stone or something like that.

In 2011 I think Ed was just acting like a pyscho Christian to gain pyscho Christian fans. Every other mention of Chris from Ed was very positive.

I didn't just mean Kevin performing with Live. I was referring to whatever this tribute will be. Maybe with Candlebox. The festival seems to be scrambling to do something for that large crowd. The rest of Soundgarden might be there and need someone to take the mic and do a tribute. I don't know how it is going to go down, and I am not serious about Kevin actually showing up in Ohio. I was just day dreaming that it would be cool because Kevin's register can get way up there. Maybe Kevin will cover some Soundgarden with Candlebox sometime in the future and dedicate Far Behind. They were all rock bands in Seattle around the same time. I don't know. Whatever. I'm just making conversation.

Looks like there might be a delay on their stage time. I was listening to the stream, and it seems like a massive storm is passing over the area right now, and they have evacuated the stadium and sent people back to their cars.

Yeah that would work. I wonder if it is going to be a live performance or just a video. I think if it's a live performance there would be various artists, maybe Live included, who play a song. If they were to bring someone else into the fold from outside the lineup, I think only Eddie Vedder has the mass appeal to fill the bill as a huge grunge act.

If Soundgarden is there tonight I wouldn't be surprised if they could get a big-name to step on stage in honor of Chris considering the circumstances and the fact that they have this huge sold out festival and Soundgardern was supposed to headline. I guess we'll see but it has the possibility of being a momentous occasion.
