Welcome to the forum! There used to be a web site called Friends of Live - it was the official message board and website. Were you a member there as well?

It is unlikely that Live will release a new album soon. Things appear to be in a state of limbo at the moment.

Hey all, so I've been a Live fan since I first saw them preform at the TLA in Philly in November of '93 standing room only and I was right in front. I've only seen them 2 times since then, and both have been post reunion. Went to Buffalo to see them open for GnR, and then in Denver on their tour with the Counting Crows, didn't even stay for Counting Crows!! I'm originally from Levittown, PA but left there in '95 and now live in Colorado.

I know it gets a lot of shit from fans but SFBM is actually one of my favorite albums, let me explain! I was stationed in the Middle East with the Navy when it came out and the lyrics to Home really struck a chord with me. I wasn't in the shit, but a lot of my friends were, and part of my job was traveling to those places and it was always the same, talking to the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines there and they all just wanted to go home and be with their families. So, that just stuck with me and I would listen to that album over and over and I really came to like most if not all the songs on it.

That show was awesome, but the two things I remember most was when my girlfriend was trying to get back stage before the show, she was told to turn around because that large circle of people behind us was surrounding the band, this was before the show started and while fans were still entering. Second, was we meet CG outside on the street after the show, he was a pretty cool dude, talked to the 5 of us for about 20 minutes, signed a bunch of stuff, I've never been into collecting autographs so I gave away the signed ticket, but it was still pretty cool to talk to him.

No, never seen them Live, Italy is a great country to live in bu not for music fans
