Yep, it was cornstarch and powder. I remember reading somewhere that it was meant to show unity or something. It was always very odd to me. And the fans that did it too just made me laugh. They looked like a cult at the TC AC show.

I'm not sure why people were so obsessed with why they did it or whether they should or not. It was the biggest non-issue. They said it was to symbolise unity or brotherhood or whatever (some brotherhood that turned out to be) but I think in the end it was just a kinda cool effect, thats about it. I'd certainly take that over the lead singer taking his shirt off and gyrating around.

As for the fans who did it ... eh, each to their own I guess. They were having fun and getting into the spirit of things. Can't say its something I would have been keen on doing pre-show, but who cares?

I went to go look at the picture of them covered in cornstarch on Google Play, and they've apparently changed the image to one featuring Ed. No cornstarch, though.

Edit: the written description still lists Chris Shinn. So maybe they're updating it now.

People made waaaaaay too big of a deal about it.
