What to expect from +Live+..., now that Ed is back Options

As someone who plays bass, all I can say is the MJ era bass lines were inspiring. Thereafter they became much less interesting. Not to say he wasn't still a great bass player, but something that was once there was missing.

exactly, and I must say that Live 2.0 inspired him again. I thought we would hear him more on The Turn, but in concert he was giving it all, slapping Pain lies on the riverside like the early days.

First time poster, life-long Live fanatic.

I'm personally excited at the prospect of them reuniting. I can't imagine they buried the hatchet without Ed apologizing, and I can't imagine he'd be back in the band if there was any inkling he'd start taking control again. And with them appearing to operate out of Think Loud right now, it definitely feels like CT is mostly in control still.

For new music, I imagine a musical continuation of The Turn, but with Ed on vocals. For Ed's part, I'm hoping after a couple years touring TC he'll try to do something a littler edgier than he has for the last decade. Not expecting a return to TC era vocals, but hopefully something more like TDTH or V than SFBM.

But I expect the first thing they'll do is commemorate MJ's 25th anniversary. Maybe play the album cover to cover like Ed was doing with TC.
