Complaints? I wouldn't see this thread as a complaint, more of a way of pointing out how ridiculous and childish this is and also how bad it makes Ed look. Because CCP were always proud of The Turn. Now that Ed's back * poof *, the work that proved they could be a band without Ed disappears. He already has a reputation of being an walking ego, this doesn't help in any way.

Are you assuming that Ed was responsible for the removal of 'The Turn'? Ever think the other guys offered to remove it? Possibly a mutual decision by all 4?

Bottom line: no one here knows, but some will put their agendas & bias forward with a vengeance as they speculate and act as their opinion is fact.

Imo, I think shinn is pissed and yep, some legal stuff must be going on. Also, again, imo, I don't think any of them felt good about how the turn came out but they wanted to give it a go. A lot enjoyed it and a lot didn't. While I wasn't a fan of it I really don't think it's cool that they removed it from everywhere. But as I said, I bet shinn made them take it all down. A couple of his fb posts have been wierd. I really hope they settle their shit otherwise it's the whole ed and lawsuit all over again. Only this time with shinn. Nope I'm not assuming anything. I just said it makes him look bad. He already has a reputation of being a walking ego and this adds to it. That and, if you read previous replies, you'll see many people defending this decision to "protect" Ed as if he was the old girlfriend coming back. So that kind of shows that this decision seems to be taken by or for Ed. I'm not saying it is.

See, most people here replied to my OP by taking for granted I had a bias for or against Ed. I don't. I like both Ed and Chris as singers. But truth be told I don't give a shit about internal politics. I'm actually annoyed by it. I see 5 grown men acting like children who fight over who has more candy. When I realized the band wiped off everything from the last 4 years, that's what I saw, childish feuds, and wanted to discuss it with other fans. It took about 12 pages of Ed vs Chris vs CCP discussion until someone pointed out that it's possible that they have to sort legal stuff out with Chris (before himself going into a defending Ed post).

All I'm saying is that they should all get their heads out of their asses and make music and not pretends like their history didn't happen.

I also think people should stop defending Ed like a poor victim. He's not. No one is victim of anything in this situation. They're 5 grown men who took decisions. Now they have to accept those decisions.

5 people ? How is Chris involved in any of this else than being a victim? Unless you were counting M. Hynes. I think the 12 pages thread could be summarized as Live (including Ed) having their own agenda about how to deal with Ed's return. This agenda leaves fans in the dark, including fans who supported them ALOT during Chris's era (remember the Pledge funding). Some would argue they don't owe us anything and all, but Live has the ability to keep the focus on anything else than their music...how bad is this?

He marginalized them constantly. He made them out to be just a backing band to Ed. Remember the whole "driving force" stuff? Now he is saying "they are way better as all 4" but back then CCP were just average musicians and Ed was the sole reason for Live being a success. Ed did all the work and CCP just showed up and did the minimum and let Ed carry the load.

He made up lies like CT just wanted to be the face of the band and that they only asked Shinn to front the band because he had a lot of money.

He also said that The Turn had too many solo's by CT because CT wanted the spotlight.

You can't make this stuff up. But he did and it was all based on nothing. At least with the reunion we have some past history to base our skepticism/speculation on.
