American Idol Contestant is a Live Fan, says favorite band is Live Options

Chris Daughtry, one of the 24 finalists, says that his favorite band is Live and Ed is one of his biggest influences. Check out the video!

Since his favorite band is Live, I wouldn't be surprised to see him perform a Live song or two before it's all over. And he's also one of the favorites to win.

Yeah, I'll definitely post a link to his video if he sings a Live song. They perform every Tuesday and Wednesday, and then when it's down to the Final 12, they only sing on Tuesday nights.

This year looks like it's gonna be pretty good.. doubt they'll ever have someone as successful as Kelly Clarkson though.. you can't turn on the radio these days without hearing one of her songs.

Why did this have to turn into a bashing American Idol thread?! Have you guys even watched a full show? I think it's just that some of you can't get past the name. Sad thing is, if it was called something else, like "Live on Stage" or something else, you'd probably watch it.

Some of you are just petrified of doing what's "embarrassing".. glad I don't live my life that way. I enjoy American Idol every week it's on. There's something about watching a person perform live in front of a crowd for the first time, and knowing that there's like 100 million people watching. And in the middle of a performance, you know the person is nailing it, you feel good for the person and then the well deserved standing ovation. And it's on live tv, so anything can happen, like someone fainting, that's always fun. Some of them have great voices, and it's fun watching them blow away an audience. What's so bad and embarrassing about that?? It's harmless fun, lighten up!

By the way, that Live fan is singing on Wednesday night. Hoping he does well the first week!

well that´s kinda cool I never heard a Live-song covered at our dutch version of Idols here in Holland, even never at the auditions, and we're in the third edition now

the only reason i ever watched australian idol is to hear someone cover a live song, be it in the finals or even the auditions. After 3 full seasons.....not one.
