Hoodie: Ah, Beer Down smile.gif Possibly the greatest thing to come out of post-TDTH Live wink.gif No problem, by the way. Sorry I had to initially release it with an annoying beep throughout the track. I was taking precautions since I owned the only known copy of the actual track and figured the value of that acetate would be compromised if the song itself could be readily duplicated.

san_sao: I don't remember events quite the same way, although I could definitely be wrong. I did fake a promo cover for the album as a joke for my "Pilgrimage to the Southern Stars" section on my website....and I believe it was debunked by some crafty sleuth who examined it pixel by pixel and determined I'd Photoshopped the thing wink.gif I also recall that a fan named Stijn Bokhove (he was very prominent in the Live fan community) faked a cover of the album before the real one had been seen. His consisted of the SS-era band logo and a couple doves on an otherwise sparse cream-coloured background.

Merica: I never really left town, old chap! I just became somewhat disinterested in the direction of Live and Ed's separate projects. Not that any of it was necessarily bad (it was ALL better than SFBM), but I just couldn't find it in my heart to give much of a shit. After I stopped collecting in 2007 I guess my interest in general started to wane. In fact, I only recently discovered that my discography site had...well....disappeared. I will source out a new provider though, and at least reupload the site as it was. Thankfully I'm a bit OCD so I never got rid of any files.

I could be remembering totally wrong. What I remember was the real album cover, but re-colorized (kinda psychedelic, if memory serves). I tried to recreate something like it on my phone but I suck and am lazy. lol.gif

Maybe I'll try on the computer later, lol.

I think I know what you're talking about. I created something like that for the intro to my site at the time of launch. It was basically the bird from the cover, but with an overlay which made it look like cracked cement. It was grayscale, but if you moused over it you'd get a colour gradient and access to the main site.

It was kinda similar to that. I'm apparently crazy enough that I wayback-machined your page and actually found an archive of it. The photo links are broken, and in retrospect I'm not so sure you were mocking anyone specific. Here's to time-travel:

Good to know the site will be going back up!
