CT has literally forgotten about The Turn and PD has confirmed the set-list will be the hits.

Its a bit like the radio interview when CT alluded to the fact that when CCP played music for Zoe that it was the first time they had done so for anyone other than Ed (hi Kevin and Chris!)

I'm expecting a little amendment to Pat's infamous 'off the record' comment. Something like "if we knew it was this easy to just change our own history, we would have done it years ago!"

But as I say, its a pretty nothing statement. lol at them doing their own Q&A where they are 100% in control of what questions are asked and how they answer. Sad Chris and The Turn got completely buried after everything. If they're not willing to stand by their own words they can't expect everyone to stand by them.

Hopefully they have reunited for the right reasons and I wish them success.

I'll be sitting this tour out. I've seen this show before and we could probably already post the set list.

Part of this deal should've been removing SFBM from Live's catalog and making Ed list it as a solo album.

Lol. Man that is super lame that The Turn isn't listed. Just goes to show that there must have been some heavy negotiations with Ed to get the reunion up and running. Was this one of his non-negotiables that Live 2011 thru 2016 had to be white-washed.

Lol at them still selling the Overcome cd single.

I will consider going to see them in concert if it's not too far out of the way, and I'll keep an open mind about the music but would have much more preferred a better acknowledgement besides acting like that last 8 years was all side-projects.

Really how hard is it to put The Turn up there with the rest, and just small note that indicates a different lead singer.

Yeah definite heavy negotiations. Chris is the "other woman" now and Ed would want no scent of that perfume lingering around because he is very secure and not threatened at all *ahem*. So I imagine his demands went along the lines of - Chris and The Turn is to be stricken from the record books and he himself is to be exonerated publicly of any wrong doing. In return, CCP have Ed agree to write with them as a group, a private apology and probably to limit the amount SFBM material features in any set lists etc...

I have seen enough special announcements and special events Of Live to not not be surprised that the countdown went backwards and forwards and expired and reset and is still going on at thebandlive.com right now while it is already posted over at freaks4live.com and mentioned on facebook, before the original time that was set even expires, and freaks4live points to a YRK website, which announces that they are back together and has a Q&A written by a marketing department, and that no one mentions the ball-less Chris Shinn or The Turn and the last 5 years. I must say, the saga going on in the "Ed did no wrong" thread and the fumble of this countdown are the funniest, most entertaining sources of amusement that I have enjoyed in many, many years. Realistically, I have stayed around for decades because of Live's music and amazing stage performances, but I think the reason why I stay so connected on the message boards is that Live has always been, and continues to be, the greatest soap opera on Earth. I just can't look away.

A week prior to this countdown a "non-representative" for the band was on here parroting pretty much all the talking points in the Q&A.

Bloody hell!! If they decide to act like the last 4 years of Live didn't exist, it's going to be a huge lack of respect for the fanbase.

The Turn exists. The band did exist without Ed. Period. Everyone should just man up and get over it.
