Looks like it has worked sooner for people in different timezones. I won't spoil all the details but it's as safe and predictable as you might imagine. Completely ignoring The Turn and Chris, playing happy families and even the most cringeworthy Q&A they obviously wrote themselves to pat themselves on the back. Pretty damn cowardly really. Giant wet fart. But will leave the details (or lack thereof) for people to discover. If you enjoy spaghetti with no meat, no sauce, no salt or pepper, no garnish - then you'll probably love this.

Well I got to see the release ahead of schedule too and I just knew from reading it that you and World Dreamer will find negative things to say about it.

When it goes public, how about you write something positive for a change instead being a total pessimist!

I think you thrive on being negative, I'm always happy to have healthy debates just not at the expense of always being negative.

Also, I'm really not impressed that there's no mention of or thanks to Chris for his contribution. One little sentence would have gone a long way, but alas. Between the things that are and aren't being said/done on FB, that radio interview and now this statement, one could be forgiven for thinking they're trying to pretend The Turn never happened.

As for the rest of the statement, it's the kind of spiritual ultra-safe PR stuff you'd expect. Saying lots and yet nothing, ticking the box, sure to please the fans who aren't scrutinising too closely etc. All fine. Guff, but fine.

I've said as much as I'm going to, I know some people are very angry at me for not rolling over and immediately agreeing and believing them and they send threatening messages and such...but I also know there are people here who genuinely just want the music and want to enjoy the ride etc etc. I thought the announcement was a predictable nothing but others may really enjoy it...for some reason. So, I'm not spoiling any further ... you don't want to tell people what they're getting for Christmas before Christmas Day and all.

Tell you what isn't in it. Any mention of Chris or his contribution that helped to restore a bit of dignity to Live's discography after the nosedive driven by the same guy they're asking us to embrace without even a hint of hesitation.

Reaaaaaally wish they'd just dropped a tiny little sentence in there. Amicable parting of ways, thanks for The Turn and the memories, wish well going forward etc etc. Would have been so easy. A little that would have gone a long way. But nope. Laaaame.

This is a bit like the whole CyberDust thing where a lucky few get the goodies and the rest are left in the cold. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was just an innocent mistake with whatever plugin they're using for the countdown timer, but yeah. Not ideal really.

I can appreciate both sides to the argument why something might be included and something left out. But I'll comment on that theory once the release is out.
