Not sure how long Ed was in York, but I honestly feel they have been working with Ed since June or July, if not before. Not enough time for a new album, but that is enough for two or three songs. No reason why they can't rerelease MJ with new songs added on at end. I hope they rerecorded Hold Me Up, too. That & just two new songs on a rerelease would make my Christmas very merry.

5 months is plenty of time. The Stones just did a full record in 3 days.

I think that image looks an awful lot like the cover of Binaural by Pearl Jam (incidentally, the album title refers to the subject of the image).

I will take whatever music they put out, honestly. I just hope they're happy playing together again.

Is it a quality album, honestly? Don't know, I'm not a Stones fan.
IMO, quality albums take more a good year.

I would imagine the Stones have hundreds upon hundreds of written songs they never did anything with. Maybe even thousands. I remember reading an article on Chris Cornell and he had something like 700+ songs written.

It is possible a good album could be thrown together over a few days. I have said many times Live could release a great album with the B-Sides we know they have and the ones they probably have that we know nothing about.

With their own studio who knows how much work could be done in a short time.

But the image shows an explosion. And a supernova is a massive explosion. Perhaps the new Live music will be explosive, or i am just dreaming.

I retract this statement and would like to apologize for the lack of creativity comment. This image is in fact a Nebula.

However, I would also like now issue a laziness statement as this is actually an image pulled off the internet and washed with a black and white filter.

To be precise, this is the Eskimo Nebula and the photo was taken by the Hubble Telescope. Just ask NASA - https://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/hubble/h...imo_nebula.html
