Wow. That's pretty fucking rude and disrespectful. Regardless of how you view Shinn's output with Live, attacking him personally is pretty low. He filled a vacant position, respected Ed's contribution to Live's history and didn't seem to buy into fan politics. Critique of his songwriting and performances is fair game but saying 'Fuck Shinn' is undeserved and just plain rude.

Hey Dan, are we sticking with the sepia theme for the banners? Also, I remember last time you had a bit of a contest going and there was a copyright issue with some of the photos people were using. What is fair game in that regard? I wouldn't mind having a crack.

If you're going to use a photo that isn't released under "creative commons" then please get the permission of the person who owns the image before using it in the banner. Although it's not being used commercially and you can probably use the image as part of fair use, I don't really want to be dealing with aggrieved photographers who have an issue with their work being used to promote this site or the band...

Sites like Flickr and Photobucket have the ability to search for images that can be freely used so that would be a good place to start.

I'm not sure that there's a need for a separate section for Chris Shinn.

I think the "Live Central" and the "Live - Tour dates & reviews" sub-forums can be used to discuss Live and tour related topics relating to when Chris was in the band.
