Then this simply is just a case of differing personality traits surfacing in the way we/I communicate. Can't help it...I'm an INFJ "Dreamer" (Myers Briggs in case you're unfamiliar) and I won't take offense to what you were saying before. surrender.gif

And I'm from New York and we're blunt. I meant no offense.

Don't forget Chad already addressed his current state.

"I’m taking a long break from interviews but truly appreciate your support. I’m focused on impacting my local community, making records for some new artists and of course my family. That’s all I’ll say for now. Maybe sometime next year we can discuss band stuff. Keep up the good work until then."

MJ came out on 12/31/91. Chad G said they would do something with that album. I'm guessing if they return Live's social media all returns that day with a big announcement or release.

Try to catch lightning in a bottle hoping to trend and go viral by riding excitement of a "return" and hoping people talk. Start small with the die hardship and hope it spreads. Not predicting that it would work, but it doesn't cost anything financially to try.

If you think about any band that you're ever been interested in, aside from Live, you can see the logic. For example, I used to listen to Rage Against the Machine. I know they split, tried a reunion that failed - no idea what's going on now, don't follow and don't care to look. Pretty sure they are done. I'm sure some people do follow though, just like we do for Live. If anyone I knew posted or shared on New Years Eve that they heard Rage was releasing a new album, or if I heard they were all the sudden trending on Twitter, I'd at least check it out.

They do have followers. I would think the hope would be that a disappear / reappear with big news would get some people excited, sharing with friends, and hopefully get people who otherwise might not follow anymore, at least looking because it "appears" to be big news.

If there is a return, and that is not the plan, then you got me on this one.

This is just my speculation. Aside from actually beig done, what else would make sense for this stunt?

Well if it's not a stunt... uhoh.gif

I know I'm kind of negative but 3 months in advance for a stunt is a little much isn't it?

But who knows.

If that is the plan, a Countdown clock would be a nice feature for their website.

I think an unexpected news drop in my twitter feed would be more likely to generate immediate excitement and response than a count down clock.

Try to "catch" excitement rather than generate it by leading into something.

10 bucks says Chad will write a drunken blog post about this entire year by this time next year.

Maybe they are all in the studio with Jerry trying not to kill each other.

"The ReTurn." A dubstep remix of The Turn with lots of Ed samples thrown in. Also a remix of the remix of Deep Enough as a bonus track.

Yeah but the thing is that their Twitter account has been deleted and you can't reactivate it after 30 days. So it would likely not appear in your feed tongue.gif

Best case scenario is Live reuniting on Dec. 31st for a NYE concert to celebrate the band's 25th anniversary date. A special commemorative album could be released at the show, and with the option of further touring into 2017.

Even if they still can't stand each other, one show should be more than doable.

Best case scenario is said NYE concert is held in my living room and all the Victoria's Secret models are invited. In "costume". Just sayin'.

Super-duper-duper delusional. Read the writing on the wall - all of their sites have gone away because they have. There's no big explosive homecoming ahead of us - it's just over.

“Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.”

It may help to know this, maybe you can move on... the spirit of Live was within you all along.

All of this time I thought it was inside the skull of a bald egomaniac obsessed with water.
