I keep going back to the same thing, why all the Mystery (eeee-EEEEE-eee), there are like 50 people who are even interested in a reunion at this point. If it was definite, it'd be announced and they would be trying to rebuild a following.

They have like 150k followers combined of FB alone right? Maybe an announcement closer to a release or tour would have a bigger impact. Maybe they're still working stuff out before they make an announcement.

Imagine how happy Live fans (will/would) be if they announce some amazing record/tour (maybe even a B-Side mastered record too? )... The biggest thing to me is that it all (Ed/CCP) just stopped all at once. Ed's been all GO for thirty years and especially since leaving Live... Hmm.

I will second this to the end of time, lol. Though let's be clear, I want a new record too. And a reissue of DOAD in proper quality. I'm hopeful, with all the Public Affection pics that have been turning up.

As I understand things, unfortunately, neither party has the rights to the vault; the record company does. So getting those songs in the hands of the fans would require actual effort from every original band member. So... yeah.

Plus, the record company would likely not bother either way. :-(

But for say Hold Me Up, I believe the record company still holds the rights. (I think this is correct)

I don't know how it all works either, but if they can release unreleased songs from SS (whose rights are owned by Radioactive / MCA if you are right) then shouldn't they be able to release 'Hold me Up' and other songs? I would think so, i mean what is the difference?

To be fair I guess you could say CCP tried to sneakily send the demos out to only a few nutty fans without making a profit, and then it was acquired and leaked to the rest of us. Who knows if Radioactive or whoever would actually notice.
