QUOTE(Bremang @ May 11 2016, 2:55 am) *

Pat and Chad Gracey straight up told Ed to fuck off.

Pat was like, if we knew it was this easy, we would have gotten a new lead singer 10 years ago.

He also said I'd like to say a big Fuck You to our former lead singer.

Chad Gracey was very vocal about how offended he was that Ed tried to take majority songwriting credit.

Does anyone see Ed giving Pat and Gracey a nice apology that makes those two wanna share a tour bus with Ed, or make music with Ed? They can barely get together with Shinn.

Pat and Chad G probably both have other work going on. Chad G owns his own company. They don't need the money I bet.

I have a hard time seeing them work it out.

Ed's also known these guys since high school. They accomplish a lot together.

Any friends can get pissed at each other. Just because they fell out doesn't mean they'll never work together again. Also, there it's no sure thing they'll ever work it out. It's on the four of them to make that decision.

Really? Over a "fuck you" and a squabble over song writing credits? That's nothing. I could go on and on about bands that have had messier breakups. ~Band members that have called each other names and refused to be in the same room together (ahem, Guns n' Roses for one), bands that have had knock-down/drag-out fist fights, sued each other, etc. that have reunited. Some bands get back together and still have animosity, but are able to function, touring and making music together.--Who says Live have to be on the same tour bus? Who does that anymore, anyway?

I don't see Gracey or Pat being the flip-flopping sort. I think they have been bored of Ed's music for a while and just plain don't like him. We already heard news from both sides. Ed has been making album 3 and Live said they were planning on making music in the future with Shinn.

And Ed said that they are working on a reconciliation. If Gracey and Pat didn't want to participate, Ed and Chad Taylor could tour as Live and make a killing with the other two getting some sort of royalty without even going on the road.

Of course, the original line-up would be best.

Both sides have given mixed messages. Chad offered Ed to rejoin. Ed requested to come back to the band. Both claimed that the other denied the requests. Now Ed says that he wouldn't count a reunion out of the picture, and theres baby steps, yada yada. He's not trying to alienate Live fans by telling everyone that he hates the other guys in Live. That would be bad for his image. Much stronger evidence points to how he sees album 3 in his future, not Live right now.

Album 3 material can easily translate to Live material. How much of the first 2 did he write in years past? How much Gracious Few was Live (or Live era) material? We are but spectators to their own timeline and creativity. All of them.
